Our Story
Our journey began around a cozy fire pit, where a simple yet intriguing conversation sparked a brilliant idea. As we enjoyed the warmth of the fire and admired the view, we realized there was no convenient place to set our drinks and snacks without the intrusion of a bulky table. This need for a more functional and unobtrusive solution became the seed of what would eventually become “The Bench Bar.”
Tommy’s dad, Colin, an engineer known for his problem-solving prowess, was our go-to person. With a keen eye for design and an engineering background, Colin, alongside Meagan, sketched out an initial concept for a solution that would seamlessly blend into our outdoor setting. After agreeing on a design, they set to work crafting a prototype in time for Tommy’s birthday. The result was a hit—a sleek, functional addition that delighted everyone who saw it. “The Bench Bar” quickly became the talk of the gathering, and the positive feedback was overwhelming.
For the next three years, we dedicated ourselves to refining the design, rigorously testing its durability and functionality. Our commitment to quality paid off, and by March 2024, we proudly launched a small production line, marking the beginning of our venture to bring “The Bench Bar” to a wider audience.
